Delilah Howard Robins

Delilah “Deedy” Howard Robins, 47, of New Orleans, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on June 30, 2025. Born on October 28, 1977, at Charity Hospital to the late George Howard Jr. and Cynthia I. Jackson, Delilah was a gentle soul who lived a life full of grace, kindness, and unwavering faith. Known affectionately as the “good child,” Delilah never required discipline and grew up with a peaceful, nurturing spirit that remained with her throughout her life. She graduated from O. Perry Walker High School and pursued her passions through candle and perfume making, as well as offering nail services to her community. Her love for fragrance and beauty was a reflection of the light she carried within. Delilah was a loving wife, devoted mother, and adoring grandmother. She fiercely loved her children and grandchildren, always putting her family first. She was a Christian woman of strong faith, an active and faithful member of First Church of the Nazarene under the guidance of Pastor Reginald Gilmore. Delilah lived by the word of Jesus Christ and brought warmth and love to everyone she encountered. She is preceded in death by her son Trayvon David Howard; her brother Johnathan Howard; grandparents Annie Ma Johnson Weaver, George Howard Sr., and Maggie Howard; and a host of beloved aunts. She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Irvin Robins; her children Travionne Robins, Irell Robins, Mia Robins, and Mya Robins; her grandchildren Ava Howard, Dalayah Robins, Lei'Lani Mclain, Kaiden Robins, and Naiomi Robins; her mother Cynthia I. Jackson; her stepmother Sandra Howard; her siblings: Rene M. Howard (Carl Wilson) and George Howard III ; stepbrothers Anthony Bradford and Joseph Bradford; and stepsister Claudia Bradford. She is also lovingly remembered by her in-laws: father-in-law Irving Robins II, mother-in-law Diane Robins, sister-in-law Michelle Robins, and brothers-in-law Eric Robins, Michael Robins, and Derrick Robins.
