Linda Diane Nunnelee

Linda Diane Nunnelee, maiden name Linda Diane Weisler, entered eternal rest the morning of April 8th,2026 following a long courageous battle with her loving daughter always attending by her side. Linda was born on May 4th, 1953. She grew up in Napa, California and spent most of her adult life residing in South Plaquemines Parish, LA. She is preceded in death by her father, John E. Weisler, her mother, Patrica Biale, her brother, Thomas Sampson, and her son, Justin Ray Webb. She is survived by her daughter, Kindra Arnesen(George), her siblings: Cliff(Debi), Tina, Bill, and Jeff, granddaughters: Aleena(Thomas), Sydney, and Bobbie, grandsons: David and Justin, and great grandchildren: Thomas, Tatum, Ja’Corey, Azriella, and Kevin. Linda enjoyed arts and crafts like making handcrafted jewelry, crocheting, and painting. Everyone who saw her work adored it. She loved a good karaoke night singing to “I Feel Lucky" by Mary Chapin Carpenter and “Sitting On the Dock of the Bay”. Her many hobbies included gardening, swimming, horseback riding, and she absolutely loved being on the boat as she spent many years commercially fishing. In between fishing and being a loving grandma, Linda spent many years cooking breakfast at the Venice Marina. She took pride in her food and enjoyed feeding the charter fleet of Venice. Whilst she had many loves in her life that made the days special, above all else Linda deeply loved her family; she was known closest to her as MeMe. As her family expanded, Linda did everything she could to make the happy . The surprise gifts just because, the breakfast biscuits she saved at the bbq shack for when her grandkids got off the school bus, teaching them to make cheesy eggs in the microwave, the special trail mix on holidays, she put in so much effort to see a smile on their faces. Beyond her youth and adulthood, she would tell you herself the past 25 years of her life getting to spend it with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were most definitely her golden years and getting to be included in every milestone was her biggest accomplishment in life. Her family will forever remember her fiery spirit, her advice, and her will to fight to be with them. They will cherish every memory they have with her and will make sure her memory lives on.
